- Smart thermostats. These units are fully programmable and allow all preset temperatures to be scheduled in advance. Many are also internet connected, allowing you to monitor indoor temperatures from any remote location as well as alter programmed settings. Really smart thermostats incorporate sensors that learn your daily habits and preferences to create the most efficient programmed schedule for you and everyone in your home.
